Fandango Survey: Deadpool 3 named most anticipated movie of 2024

Fandango has announced that Deadpool 3, the sole Marvel Studios film scheduled for next year, is the most eagerly awaited movie of 2024.

In 2023, Marvel Studios faced significant challenges, as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania stumbled in its second weekend, and The Marvels performed even worse than The Flash. Despite these setbacks, the MCU brand remains resilient.

Fandango, a sophisticated movie ticket service established in 2000, gathered input from over 8,000 users for its 2024 Most Anticipated Movies Survey.


The rise of Deadpool 3 to the forefront is largely attributed to the eagerly awaited collaboration between Ryan Reynolds' comedic antihero and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. While Reynolds had a brief stint as Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), their upcoming movie marks their first full-length venture together.
