Extraction, one of the most popular Netflix films, will get a sequel in the summer of 2023. Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as Tyler Rake. It shouldn't come as a surprise that a sequel is being developed for one of Netflix's most popular original films. Even movies like Murder Mystery, Bird Box, and 6 Underground were unable to match the number of homes that enjoyed the movie on Netflix when it streamed—more than 99 million.
