Reading the journal triggered a vision of a woman with long blond hair and a flower crown, a stark visual contrast to Morticia’s signature gothic style. Moments later, viewers saw Hester descend into the basement of her mansion, where a woman in a red dress, shown only from behind, scrawled “Wednesday must die” in blood. That woman is now confirmed to be Green’s Ophelia.
