Erika Kirk receives inaugural ‘Charlie Kirk Legacy’ Award, vows to keep speaking truth in an emotional tribute to late husband

Erika Kirk, Turning Point USA CEO, was honored with the inaugural 'Charlie Kirk Legacy' Award named after her late husband Thursday at the Fox Nation Patriot Awards. Erika delivered an emotional tribute to her late husband while pledging to continue his mission of truth and conviction. In her heartfelt acceptance speech, she vowed to 'keep speaking the truth, no matter the cost', emphasizing courage, faith, and integrity as guiding values.

The award recognizes individuals who exemplify Charlie’s lasting mission of faith, family, and free speech. It will be presented annually in memory of the late conservative activist, who was tragically shot and killed at the age of 31 on the campus of Utah Valley University on September 10.



"Thank you to everyone who loved my husband so well," Erika, 36, said as she graciously accepted the award at The Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Brookville, New York.

Country music star Jason Aldean, his wife Brittany Aldean, and Fox News host Jesse Watters presented the award to Erika during the ceremony.


"I know this award is about legacy," Erika said.

"It’s about my legacy, our children’s legacy, my husband’s legacy. But it’s also about your legacy. And I really want you to take a minute tonight to think about what that is.

"He knew that evil wins when good people stay silent," Erika continued.

"And so for the rest of my life, I will make sure that I don’t stay silent. I’ll keep speaking the truth no matter the cost."
