Unfortunately, due to a knee operation, he couldn't personally accept the honor but shared his joy on Instagram.

The critically acclaimed drama Succession, exploring the power struggles within a media mogul's family, received multiple accolades, including best drama series, writing, and directing. The actors Sarah Snook and Kieran Culkin won leading drama actress and actor, respectively.

The comedy-drama series The Bear, centered around a chef returning to run his family's sandwich shop, secured three acting prizes. Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach were recognized for their roles.

In the limited series categories, Netflix's Beef, inspired by road rage, dominated, with Ali Wong and Steven Yeun winning best actress and actor. Other winners included Quinta Brunson for best leading comedy actress in Abbott Elementary, Jennifer Coolidge for best supporting drama actress in The White Lotus, and Niecy Nash-Betts for best supporting actress in a limited series for Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

The 75th Emmys featured reunions of TV casts from shows like Grey's Anatomy, The Sopranos, Ally McBeal, and Cheers, celebrating the event's anniversary. The ceremony, hosted by Anthony Anderson, was delayed by four months due to Hollywood strikes. Numerous stars were present, and the industry remembered those who had passed away, including a performance by Charlie Puth of the Friends theme tune.
