The American actor Sheryl Lee Ralph won an Emmy award for 'Abbott Elementary' and received massive applause for singing her version of a Dianne Reeves song instead of giving the acceptance speech.

Besides being a fantastic actor, Sheryl Lee Ralph is a Tony-nominated singer, as she reminded all of us at the recently held Emmy Awards. The Abbott Elementary actor received the Emmy award for supporting actress in a comedy during the 74th Emmys on Monday.
