Eminem becomes grandfather! Hailie Jade Scott welcomes first child with husband

Rapper Eminem has become a grandfather at the age of 52. His daughter Hailie Jade Scott has welcomed her first child with her husband Evan McClintock.

The Grammy award-winning artist's daughter announced the arrival of her son, Elliot Marshall McClintock, on Instagram on Friday, People magazine reported.

In her post on the social media platform, the influencer shared two adorable photographs of her newborn child, featuring him lying in a blue hooded sweater. In the picture, one can spot a sign board placed behind the newborn. It mentioned his name and date of birth. Scott welcomed her son on March 14, 2025.


The sign board reads, "Elliot Marshall McClintock 03.14.25".

The middle name of the child has been taken from her father, whose real name is Marshall Mathers.

"happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e," Scott wrote in the caption along with a white heart emoji.

Scott, who has 3.9 million followers on Instagram, remained quite active on the social media platform, offering regular updates about her pregnancy period.

Hailie Jade Scott shares her experience

During one of the most recent episodes of her Just a Little Shady podcast, Scott shared her excitement about welcoming her child into the world and even joked that the newborn would be the “dream podcast guest” on her show.

This happened before she gave birth to her son.

In the last episode, she said it was "so weird to think about" it, adding that she will have to meet this "human that I've created."

"What's he gonna look like?... what's his personality gonna be (like)? It’s strange but super exciting," People magazine quoted Scott as saying.

On March 9, Scott even shared multiple photographs of herself embracing her baby bump and wrote, "so close to meeting baby boy".

Earlier this year, she started 2025 by sharing an image of her husband kissing her baby bump, claiming that "things are going to look so different this time next year & we can’t wait".

In October last year, the couple had even provided a glimpse into their son's nursery. It was revealed in November that they are expecting a baby boy as she hosted the Just a Little Shady podcast. Later on, she described it as her “favourite episode” from the past season.
