DownDetector provides a live outage map for Starlink. When the outage happened on Sunday evening, the key areas affected were Seattle, San Francisco, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta and St Louis.

Reacting to the outage, Starlink said, "Starlink is currently experiencing a service outage. Our team is investigating," Starlink said, without providing further details. Starlink is available (i.e. licensed and operating) in over 100 countries and territories worldwide as of mid-2025.
Starlink services back online for most users
Starlink services were back online for most users after a brief outage, according to tracking website Downdetector.com. The number of U.S. users reporting issues fell below 1,000 as of 1:15 a.m. ET (0515 GMT), down from a peak of more than 43,000, Downdetector said. The platform tracks outages by collating status reports from multiple sources.
