Elon Musk's jumps at Trump rally lead to a memefest on social media; check them out here
Elon Musk's over-the-top appearance at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania sparked a memefest on social media.

When the tech billionaire visited the location of his July assassination attempt, where Musk was seen leaping with delight while behind Trump on stage, he appeared ecstatic to be with the Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump.
However, his ebullience infuriated some on Musk's own social media platform, X, and they took to the website that was once known as Twitter to make fun of his right-wing cheerleading routine.
Many drew attention to the fact that as Musk hopped around the stage, Trump was giving him some serious side-eye. Some compared the CEO of Tesla to an excitable child who stays up late.

Musk's awkward speech to the crowd, in which he referred to himself as ‘Dark MAGA’ and denounced the prospect of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris winning, was also not lost on the audience.
Musk publicly announced he was backing Trump back in July after President Joe Biden’s disastrous debate against his two-time rival, but the businessman reportedly began funnelling millions into Trump’s campaign through a super PAC months prior.
Musk's endorsement seems to have been one of his better recent investments. It was revealed last month that X's value had decreased by almost 72% since he bought the company in 2022.
Trump stated in August that, should he win, he would consider offering Musk a cabinet post.
