Elon Musk's ex-girlfriend Jennifer Gwynne auctions old pictures. Details inside

Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk and Jennifer Gwynne dated for a year while studying at the University of Pennsylvania. They began dating while living and working as Resident Advisors in ‘Spruce Street', a part of the University of Pennsylvania’s quadrangle dorm.

In addition to some pictures of their old times, Gwynne also has some of the gifts given by Elon Musk to her including a handmade birthday card and a 14K gold necklace.

In one of the pictures put on auction, Elon Musk is in a joyful state, lying on the floor of his dorm room, laughing. However, Gwynne confirmed that Elon Musk was very reserved in those days. This picture is one of those rare moments when he acted silly and laughed openly.


In another photo, we can see Musk and Gwynne sitting together, and Gwynne confirmed that this picture was taken by Elon’s mother, Maye Musk when she came to pay a visit to Elon Musk in his college days.



While putting these pictures on auction, Gwynne said that Elon was visionary even in those days and had set up a plan to develop an electric car someday.

She praised Elon Musk’s confidence and clarity in life, though she also said that Elon was not too affectionate.

Gwynne broke up with Musk in 1995 when she learned that Musk was cheating on her with Justine Wilson behind her back, whom he later married. The 48-year-old Jennifer Gwynne is currently living in South Carolina.
