Elon Musk’s estranged daughter Vivian Wilson trolls his ‘woke mind virus’ comment on TikTok

Billionaire Elon Musk’s daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, clapped back at her father after he disowned her in a series of posts on X.

Wilson posted a video on her social media mocking her father, which featured a screenshot of Elon Musk’s tweet where he dead-named his estranged daughter.

Elon Musk, 53, on March 23, reacting to a recent article about Wilson’s recent interview, said that Wilson was killed by the woke mind virus. The Tesla chief mentioned Vivian’s birth name and added that the woke mind virus will now “die”. The statement ignored Vivian’s transition and preferred pronouns.

Vivian Wilson’s response to Elon Musk

Vivian Wilson posted a video on her social media pages which featured a screenshot of Elon Musk’s tweet with annotation pointing out her “old name” alongside a transgender flag emoji. She then lip-synced to the audio which stated that she looked pretty good for a dead person, referencing a RuPaul’s Drag Race clip. The video has been captioned, “And you don’t.” The video quickly gained traction online.

This is not the first time Vivian Wilson has spoken out against her father. In an interview published in Teen Vogue on March 20 she dismissed the SpaceX boss as a “pathetic man-child.” She rhetorically asked if she should be scared of Musk just because he is rich.

Vivian Wilson also revealed that Elon Musk had not financially supported her since she came out as trans in 2020. She said that in contrast to her father’s behaviour, her mother, Justine Wilson, has been very supportive of her transition.

Vivian Wilson’s estrangement from Elon Musk

Wilson legally changed her name in June 2022 and took her mother’s last name. The legal filing cited her gender identity and that she no longer lives with or wishes to be related to her biological father in any way.

Musk previously claimed that he was “tricked” into consenting to Vivian Wilson’s gender affirming surgery. Vivian has refuted his claims and maintained that she ‘disowned’ her father and not the other way around.

Musk, who has fathered at least 14 children with four women, is estranged from many of his children. Wilson, reportedly, found out about one of her younger half-siblings through a RuPaul’s Drag Race subreddit post.

Musk, who is known for controversial behaviour online, has not directly responded to Wilson’s viral video.
