According to Daily Beast, she eventually shared that the two bonded over their shared interest in space during the Thanksgiving dinner at the Mar-a-Lago residence while discussing topics such as interplanetary colonization and why Mars is the ideal location for establishing a new civilization. Maye Musk also expressed her admiration for Barron Trump while noting his intelligence and how they engaged in conversation throughout the evening.

The relationship between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and US President- elect Donald Trump has also been highlighted while Maye Musk noted that the two got along really well. Since Elon Musk became a prominent supporter of Donald Trump's presidential campaign, they appeared together for a lot of events which included SpaceX launches and meetings with prominent world leaders, asserted Daily Beast.

Maye Musk also described Donald Trump as someone who absolutely values trust and transparency.
