Billionaire Elon Musk is known for taking Twitter by storm as he has a strong following of over 100 million. In the latest series of tweets, the SpaceX CEO has opened up about his healthy habits and other lifestyle changes, which have helped him lose about 20 pounds (9 kg) of weight. The Billionaire tweeted that he has started fasting occasionally on the advice of a 'friend' and is now feeling much healthier.

The Tesla owner has been very straightforward in speaking about his unhealthy habits, including waking up late at 9:30 am and checking the phone right away. Earlier, his father had also shared some of his unhealthy eating habits in an interview and advised him to start taking pills for weight loss. Musk, in the following tweet also mentioned the name of an app named Zero Fasting, which has helped him quite a lot.

Talking about periodic fasting, many people follow this regime which changes eating and fasting on a regular schedule. The most commonly followed plan is fasting for two days a week and limiting the daily food consumption window to six hours. Many kinds of research have proved that intermittent fasting can be very effective against cancer, diabetes, and heart diseases. Besides, fasting also improves brain function and helps prevent Neurodegenerative Disorders.
