Elon Musk declares Kanye West's X account ‘NSFW’ for this reason

Kanye West accused Elon Musk of limiting his reach and shadow banning his posts. Adding that it was “very cathartic” to use the world like a “sounding board”, West thanked his followers and said he was logging out of X.

Rapper Kanye West, now known as Ye, is no stranger to controversies. The 47-year-old has often faced outrage for his antisemitic, misogynistic content on social media. Now, it appears that his account on X (formerly Twitter) has been deleted.

X owner Elon Musk confirmed the news in a post where he said that West’s account was now Not Rated Safe for Work (NSFW). The public will not be able to view the rapper’s posts on X now.

Previously, Kanye West had thanked Musk for allowing him to vent against Taylor Swift, with whom he shares an adversarial relationship.

What West said in his post

West accused Musk of limiting his reach and shadow banning his posts. Adding that it was “very cathartic” to use the world like a “sounding board”, West thanked his followers and said he was logging out of the app.

The musician claimed he would set up a Discord channel on his website to talk to his fans, Hindustan Times reported.

Earlier, the Grammy winner had targeted Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar in a long rant full of racist, sexist and antisemitic content.

Kanye West’s rant against Elon Musk

A few days ago, the musician had accused Musk of "stealing his Nazi swag." West also expressed his admiration for Hitler. The post was later deleted. Musk had not responded to the allegations.

Kanye West and Bianca Censori’s Grammys shocker

West and his wife Bianca Censori had shocked everyone at the Grammy awards last week. Censori appeared in a transparent minidress that left nothing to the imagination, while Ye was dressed in an all-black outfit. The duo then left the venue, prompting rumours that they had been escorted out. It was revealed later West had chosen to leave the awards.

The rapper was at the event because his track ‘Carnival’ was nominated in the best rap song category. He lost out to Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us.’

Later on, the musician denied allegations that Censori was coerced by him to wear the revealing dress but claimed that he had “dominion” over her. West also said that Censori would not have been able to wear the dress had he not approved it.
