Elon Musk acknowledges using contentious weight-loss medication. 'Make America Healthy Again' won't be aided by drugs like Ozempic, asserted Kennedy.

After fellow top Trump adviser Robert F. Kennedy Jr. claimed that the popular new class of weight-loss medications is harmful to Americans' health, Elon Musk, boasted that he has benefitted from the use of the controversial drugs, as quoted in a report by Fox News.

Why is the Ozempic Sparking Debate?

On Christmas Day, "Ozempic Santa" Musk shared a picture of himself in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, dressed as Santa Claus but without his trademark large belly, on X, formerly Twitter. "Like Cocaine Bear, but Santa and Ozempic!" Musk explained in a subsequent post that he is using the Mounjaro brand-name version but that the awkward moniker didn't have the same ring to it.

If confirmed, Trump has granted Kennedy the authority to go wild on health as long as he doesn't impede Trump's domestic energy objectives. Semaglutide was first created as a diabetes drug, but because of its appetite-suppressing properties, it has been used more frequently recently.

Kennedy stated that there's a huge push to sell this to the American people, in response to Fox News' Greg Gutfeld's October question about his opinion of the semaglutide drug Ozempic. This medication is manufactured in Denmark, but neither diabetes nor obesity are treated with it there. They advise dietary and behavioural adjustments.

They're counting on selling it to Americans because we are so stupid and so addicted to drugs, said Kennedy. He came to the conclusion that if Americans had access to and consumed higher-quality food, the obesity problem in the country could be resolved overnight.

Musk has stated that making Ozempic more widely available would do more to improve public health.
