If media reports are to be believed, Sandy Garossino, the mother of Elon Musk's estranged wife, Grimes, has accused him of withholding their children and not allowing them to meet their great-grandmother, who is on her deathbed and wants to see the children one last time. The Tesla CEO and Grimes have been in a custody battle for their three children. Grimes is a Canadian musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer, who began a relationship with the billionaire businessman in 2018. She gave birth to their son in 2020, they welcomed a daughter via surrogacy in 2021. The couple "semi-separated" in September 2021. However, in 2023 it was reported that they welcomed another son.

According to the 'Fortune', Garossino took to social media platform X and wrote in a post that she is alarmed to learn that the children cannot come as he is withholding them and their needed passport documents from Claire. She further added that it was more troubling to see him and X on television at the Olympics in Paris, after his DC trip earlier in the week.

Garossino pleaded with Elon Musk to "honour your agreement, return the children, and provide the documents they need to see their great-grandmother before she passes." She went to the extent of begging him and said that it was so painful for her mother, and concerning for the kids.

Besides his three children with Grimes, the X boss has nine other kids with other women, including ex-wife Justine Wilson and Shivon Zilis.
