Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC – is on the way, but FromSoftware has not decided on a release date yet. It could be 2023 or early 2024. Shadow of the Erdtree was first announced on February 28, 2023, with a tweet about it being in development.

The February 2023 tweet read: "Rise, Tarnished, and let us walk a new path together.An upcoming expansion for #ELDENRING Shadow of the Erdtree, is currently in development.We hope you look forward to new adventures in the Lands Between."

The new update will have new items and hairstyles, and at least 30 new bosses. Also, 16 new / NPC or enemy characters will be there. Additionally, some content cut from the main game could make its way to the DLC version.


There could also be an option in the DLC version of the video game to have endings extended from the base game.
