Elden Ring Nightreign: Features, release date, price of special editions — All you need to know

FromSoftware has announced the release date of Elden Ring Nightreign. The co-op standalone adventure will be available on PS5 and PS4 on May 30.

The game will be out on PC, Xbox Series X, Series S and Xbox One as well. A pre-order trailer of the game invites fans to make their “landfall in Limveld” on May 30.

Elden Ring Nightreign’s announcement comes just days before the game’s network test. According to Polygon, the test will allow selected users to play a portion of the video game before its launch. The test will be used to make sure that all important elements of the game are functioning smoothly.

Elden Ring Nightreign features

While Elden Ring was a single player game, the Nightreign version focuses on co-op survival action, according to Playstation. The player must be aware of their surroundings constantly to survive.

The Night’s Tide mechanic feature will reduce the player’s explorable play area over time, making it crucial to secure alliances and upgrade characters before they meet with a powerful boss. Players can attack their fellow Nightfarers to revive them in case of injuries.

The game has upgraded some movements and actions. This includes grabbing on to Spectral Hawks to move in the air. Players who preorder the game get access to the ‘It's Raining’ gesture. The move can be unlocked later in the game world too.

Elden Ring Nightreign price and editions

According to Screenrant, different editions of the adventure game are available. The Standard Edition has no extra content. Priced at $39.99, it will have physical copies for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.

Similar to the Standard Edition, the Collector’s variant will have physical copies only for Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Priced at $199.99 it also has a steel-book case, in-game collectibles, a hardcover artbook and a 24-centimeter statue of Wylder, one of the game’s characters.

The Deluxe Edition costs $54.99.

Elden Ring Nightreign: Areas available

The game will only feature the area of Limveld, according to its creator. It is expected that new areas might be released later as part of downloadable content (DLC) later.
