His son, Lalo Manzano, shared the news on Instagram, writing, “With deep sorrow we bid farewell to my beautiful daddy and we thank all who have respectfully joined with their love.” The passing of Eduardo Manzano marks the end of an era in Spanish-language entertainment.

Eduardo Manzano II (born on July 18, 1938) was a celebrated Mexican comedian, singer, and actor whose career spanned more than six decades. Eduardo Manzano gained fame as a member of the legendary comedic duo Los Polivoces and was widely recognized for his role in the hit sitcom Una familia de diez (2007–present). Eduardo Manzano also left his mark on the Golden Age of Mexican cinema and continued to entertain audiences with memorable performances in film, television, and theater.
