Eddie Murphy accepts to pay £31,000 per month as child support for daughter

American actor Eddie Murphy has increased the child support for his teenage daughter Angel Iris Murphy Brown to Mel B. Murphy will now pay a little more than $35,000 for his 15-year-old daughter as monthly child support. This decision came after 24 months of Mel B’s filing of papers, according to media reports.

The documents submitted in the court show that the changes in this agreement happened after Mel B reported that her income over the years had changed.

The actor was initially paying $25,000 as monthly child support. This decision came after the paternity fight back in February 2009. This new agreement now states that the Shrek actor earns much more than the ex-Spice Girl. Hence, the court decided that Eddie Murphy should pay ten grand more.




The child support will continue for their daughter till she turns 18. The actor also agreed to pay the singer’s attorney fees, about $10,000.

The revised payments are to be covered from October 2021. Mel B alone will cover extra costs.
