'Eclipse Across America':Total solar eclipse on Disney+, Hulu, Nat Geo Wild, ABC News. Know when it will be live from your city

Television channels are gearing up to make the solar eclipse on April 8 a big media event in the US. Many of them will deploy reporters in big US cities to cover the event live. ABC News and Nat Geo have joined hands to cover it live and air across several Disney linear and streaming outlets. ABC News anchors David Muir and Linsey Davis and National Geographic's Mariana van Zeller will report the event from the field. Many others will join them as well.

According to 'Variety', the program called 'Eclipse Across America' will be simulcasted from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET on ABC, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild, Disney+, and Hulu.

ABC News and Nat Geo have announced that 'Eclipse Across America' will be broadcast live from Texas, Illinois, the shores of Lake Eerie in Ohio, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana, Niagara Falls, Maine, Vermont and Arkansas.

The path of the total solar eclipse may hit around 32 million people across North America. The next similar event in the U.S. will take place in 2044. Alaska will witness a total solar eclipse in 2033, and the lower 48 US states will see a total solar eclipse on August 23, 2044, when Montana, South Dakota and North Dakota will get to witness another celestial spectacle.
