Earthquake of 3.5 magnitude hits Pacifica, aftershocks followed, claim reports

An earthquake has struck Pacifica this morning and it was followed by two aftershocks.

An earthquake with preliminary magnitude of 3.5 struck Pacifica on Tuesday morning. The initial tremblor was followed by two aftershocks, according to reports.

First jolt of 3.5 struck just after 6 am near Pacifica's Sharp Park neighborhood. It was followed by two smaller quakes with a magnitude of 2.6 at 6:03 am and 6:04 am respectively, as per the US Geological Survey.

The earthquakes hit one kilometer northeast of Pacifica.


Apart from the tremblors, so fare there has been no damage or injuries. The quakes were also followed by strong winds and intense rains battering the Bay Area.
