Duster: When will new drama series air? Here’s release date, where to watch, episode schedule, plot, cast and trailer

Max has confirmed the premiere date for its upcoming drama series Duster. The series will begin streaming on Thursday, May 15. A teaser trailer has been released online.

Episode Schedule

Duster will have eight episodes in total. Max will release new episodes each week. The final episode will air on July 3. This format allows viewers to follow the story over time.

Plot

The story takes place in 1972. Nina, played by Rachel Hilson, becomes the first Black female FBI agent. She travels to the American Southwest. There, she teams up with a skilled getaway driver, played by Josh Holloway. Together, they work to bring down a criminal group that is expanding its reach.

Cast

Josh Holloway reunites with J.J. Abrams for this project. The two previously worked together on Lost. Other cast members include Keith David, Sydney Elisabeth, Greg Grunberg, Camille Guaty, Asivak Koostachin, Adriana Aluna Martinez and Benjamin Charles Watson.

Trailer

The teaser trailer introduces the main characters. In one scene, Hilson’s character tells Holloway’s character that she was warned not to meet him. In another, a character played by Keith David asks Holloway how he feels about violence. The trailer then shifts to several action scenes.

The first two episodes are written by Abrams and Morgan. Steph Green directs and executive produces those episodes. Abrams and Rachel Rusch Rich produce for Bad Robot. Morgan produces for TinkerToy Productions. The series is made with Warner Bros. Television.
