Production Team

The series was developed by Diane Ademu-John and Alison Schapker. Schapker also served as the showrunner and executive producer. Ademu-John was among the executive producers. Anna Foerster directed multiple episodes, including the first, and also served as an executive producer. Other executive producers include Jordan Goldberg, Mark Tobey, John Cameron, Matthew King, Scott Z. Burns and Jon Spaihts. Bestselling author Brian Herbert was involved, with Byron Merritt and Kim Herbert executive producing for the Frank Herbert estate. The series was co-produced by HBO and Legendary Television. Dune: Prophecy: The Complete First Season will be available in 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on May 13, 2025. Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment, in collaboration with HBO and Legendary Entertainment, will distribute it. The release will feature five extended featurettes and an exclusive, never-before-seen featurette. The total runtime, including bonus content, is 6 hours and 30 minutes.
