"Dune: Prophecy" teaser trailer has been released and the TV series will stream on Max this fall. The Max Original show comes following the blockbuster box-office success of "Dune: Part Two" movie.

"Dune: Prophecy" is loosely based on Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson's novel "Sisterhood of Dune". "Dune: Prophecy" was originally supposed to be titled as "Dune: The Sisterhood".

"Dune: Prophecy" season 1 will have six episodes, as per a report on The Hollywood Reporter.
