Dukes of Hazzard’s John Schneider reveals his wife Alicia Allain passed away at 53 in emotional tribute

A well-known hair stylist and music producer, Alicia Allain was 53-year-old. The 62-year-old John Schneider said on social media on Wednesday, "My lovely Smile is living in her new body with Jesus and is free from agony." Schneider frequently called his wife "my Smile."

"Finally, embrace the people you care about and let them know how you feel. Like we usually have," he concluded his post.

Alicia died at their Holden, Louisiana, home. Tom Wopat, a former "Dukes" co-star with Schneider, also shared his grief on social media. Wopat wrote on Facebook, "I didn't get any information, but I don't need any to be aware of the grief and loss that John's going with.

"I am sending him my thoughts and prayers along with the rest of the Dukes country. Alicia was a driving force in his life and career, and he will miss her."

In July 2019, the barn on the studio site hosted the Schneiders' wedding. Many film projects have been conceived and produced by John and Alicia, including the dramas Anderson Bench and Like Son, the Christmas feature Christmas Cars, the To Die For movie, and tributes to Smokey and the Bandit called Stand On It! and Poker Run. She is survived by a daughter and other family members in addition to John Schneider.
