Polish CEO Piotr Szczerek has become one of the most trending topics in recent times following his controversial appearance at the US Open. The Polish businessman and CEO of paving company Drogbruk was filmed snatching a signed cap from Polish tennis star Kamil Majchrzak “reportedly meant” for a young fan.

After snatching the cap, he kept it inside a bag held by his partner, as a MARCA report identifies her. This whole incident spread quickly, and questions started arising related to his company, reputation, his financial background, and the bag she was holding.

Polish CEO’s Partner Carried a $12 Tote Bag

Piotr Szczerek, the co-founder of the paving and landscaping company Drogbruk, is often referred to as a millionaire due to the steady growth of his business since its inception in 1999. However, during a recent incident, the bag seen in his partner's hand was quite modest, a simple tote bag that cost only $12.

What do we know about the bag?

The tote is part of the official US Open 2025 merchandise collection. Designed with sustainability in mind, it’s crafted from 80 per cent recycled material, water-resistant, and measures 18 x 14 inches. As mentioned on the US Open shop webpage, this bag carries artwork by Jamaican-born artist Melissa Koby, honoring tennis legend Althea Gibson, the first Black competitor at the US Open. The theme art blends dynamic layers and bold colors, celebrating a historic milestone in the sport.

In the viral video, if you look closely, he was seen giving the pen to the young boy, which the Polish tennis star used to sign it, despite taking the cap.
