'Don't Worry Darling' dazzles Venice, leaves fans intrigued: Details you may want to know

The international premiere of Olivia Wilde's 'Don't Worry Darling' took place at the Venice International Film Festival on Monday night following extensive anticipation.

Before the film, throngs of shouting fans of Harry Styles mobbed the edges of the red carpet to get a peek of him. His positive reaction contrasted sharply with the Timothée Chalamet mania on Friday.

In a stunning shimmering off-the-shoulder Valentino dress, star Florence Pugh made a big arrival on the Lido, stopping to chat with fans as she made her way down the carpet.


When the film had finished playing, the audience stood up and applauded 'Don't Worry Darling' for five minutes. The audience also spotted Styles from the balcony giving co-star Nick Kroll a warm embrace.

However, on the day of the premiere, the anticipation for the film and its stars didn't indeed subside. Some fans even kept track of where people were seated inside the theatre.

Pugh is scheduled to return immediately following her responsibilities in Venice to work on 'Dune 2,' a huge movie that is also a Warner Bros Production. Despite being the movie's leading lady, she skipped the press conference because her flight hadn't yet touched down.

The movie's concepts are a mid-century-inspired psychological thriller about a picture-perfect pair named Alice (played by Pugh) and her husband Jack (played by Styles).

They reside in an experimental society in the desert, which was discussed during the press conference.

We were particularly interested in the somewhat troubling aspect of nostalgia itself, according to Wilde. In this movie, everything is a metaphor, and everything lovely also has a dark side.
