US President Donald Trump's flat reaction went viral Sunday night after Carlos Alcaraz’s US Open title victory in New York. While the crowd erupted in celebration, cameras caught Trump looking unimpressed and expressionless courtside. The clip quickly spread across social media, with fans mocking his lack of enthusiasm. Alcaraz defeated defending champion Jannik Sinner in four sets 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 to claim his second title at Flushing Meadows.

With the win, Alcaraz returned to the top of the world rankings after two years as the 22-year-old Spaniard took his Grand Slam trophy count to six. Trump, who was watching from a luxury box in the stands, literally had no expression as he simply stood up from his seat and adjusted his suit while Alcaraz was beaming with pride on the court after the victory.



Trump's reaction came as a surprise as he is known for his over the top reactions when it comes to attending UFC events. In fact he was quite pleased during the Club World Cup final in July. Trump, who remained at the iconic Arthur Ashe Stadium throughout the two-hour-and-42-minute contest, appeared unimpressed in the viral clip.

After losing the Wimbledon final to Sinner in July, Alcaraz bounced back to beat the Italian 6-2 3-6 6-1 6-4. The 22-year-old, who won his first Grand Slam title at Flushing Meadows in 2022, dropped just one set in the final - enroute to the championship.
