Lorne Michaels who is the all in all of the Saturday Night Live (SNL) starting from being the creator to the producer of the show has recently told the Hollywood Reporter that the character of former President Donald Trump has to be reinvented and reimagined in a creative manner to make the show more interesting. The Hill reported that Lorne Michaels has also added that James Austin Johnson is going to be the actor again who going to play the character of Donald Trump in Saturday Night Live.

According to Lorne Michaels, one of the significant parts of show business is the creativity that changes with every passing day and he always likes to take up the new challenge of providing his viewers with a different kind of content every time. Alec Baldwin was present in the show depicting Donald Trump for most of the time who is being really missed, asserted Lorne Michaels.

Donald Trump’s running mate Senator JD Vance’s character will be played by a pretty famous actor but Lorne Michaels wants to keep that a secret for the audience. According to The Hill, the actor who is going to play the character of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is still in a grey area, but, after a pretty long time, former Saturday Night Live star Maya Rudolph is coming back to portray the character of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Lorne Michaels also highlighted on the fact that the characters from Republican Party are far more easier to characterize than that of characters from the Democratic Party as Democrats gets offended pretty easily owing to some skits to which fellow comedian of Lorne Michaels, Michael Che also agreed.
