Donald Trump Faces Backlash Over Immigration Policy
A majority of Americans now disapprove of the way he's addressing the subject that at one point dominated his path to the White House, revealed a new Washington Post-ABC News-Ipsos poll. The survey found that 53% disapprove of Trump's immigration policies, with a mere 48% expressing approval, as per Daily Mail. That is a significant change from February when the poll showed that Trump had 50% approval and 48% disapproval, according to the report.
This loss of public support comes even after the Trump administration has increased its emphasis on border security and a White House fact sheet highlighted that, "Between January 20 and April 1, only 9 illegal aliens were released into the United States, a staggering 99.9% decrease from the 184,241 released into the country under Biden during the same period last year," quoted Daily Mail.
