US president Donald Trump's recent comment about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have sparked fresh tension, with the president dismissing calls for Harry's deportation amid controversy surrounding his visa and past drug use, as per a report.

Trump said "I won’t do that. I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible," as quoted by Daily Mail.

This led Prince Harry to take a dig at the president while speaking at the Invictus Games in Canada, he snubbed the president. Harry addressed 40,000 people attending the opening ceremony of the event and notably mentioned "weak moral character in the world," which drew many to think that it was a disguised reference to Trump.

The speech, though seen as a moving tribute to the veterans at the Games, has led to frustration among some insiders and volunteers. They expressed concerns that Harry and Markle’s personal drama was overshadowing the event, which should focus on supporting veterans rather than royal controversies.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have often been in the spotlight for their outspoken views, were later seen enjoying each other's company at the Games, reported Daily Mail. Markle, in a rare public display of affection, leaned on Harry’s shoulder as they enjoyed performances of Katy Perry, Chris Martin and Nelly Furtado.

While Trump’s comments about Markle have been consistent over the years, Harry’s response to his speech at the Invictus Games highlighted the tension between the royal couple and the president. Previously, Trump had said he is 'not a fan' of Markle, claiming that 'Harry is whipped' and 'is being led around by his nose', reported Daily Mail.
