Donald Trump-Roy Cohn's film "The Apprentice" is all set to have its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2024. The movie will also have a wide release at theatres across the US ahead of the November 5 Presidential elections 2024.

"The Apprentice" will have its premiere at TIFF at 7 pm (local time) at the Bell Lightbox on Thursday, September 5, as per a report on Deadline.

"The Apprentice" will also be released across more than 2000 theatres in the US on October 11, Deadline reported.

"The Apprentice" is a biopic about the rise of a young Donald Trump.

"The Apprentice," which is directed by Iranian filmmaker Ali Abbasi and written by journalist Gabriel Sherman, received mostly positive reviews at Cannes.

"The Apprentice" features Sebastian Stan as Trump, and "Succession" star Jeremy Strong as his former mentor Roy Cohn. Briarcliff is expected to mount an awards season campaign for both.
