Donald Trump just got on the Presidential plane for the first time in four years to be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States
As Trump prepares to take office again, he is expected to sign numerous executive orders on his first day, potentially reinstating policies from his previous administration that were reversed by President Biden.

Trump landed at Dulles International Airport aboard a U.S. military C-32 aircraft, known as Special Air Mission 47, a nod to his status as the 47th President. He was joined by his wife Melania and their son Barron. The family traveled from their home in Florida to attend pre-inauguration festivities at Trump's golf club in Sterling, Virginia, located about 30 miles outside Washington.

At the golf club, Trump addressed a crowd of supporters, giving shoutouts to local politicians and dignitaries. He praised Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and declared his Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff a "great negotiator" following recent peace negotiations between Israel and Hamas.

Fireworks display
Following his remarks, Trump watched a fireworks display and performed alongside tenor Christopher Macchio. The celebration capped off a busy day of preparations for Monday's inauguration, which has been largely moved indoors due to forecasted frigid temperatures.Trump's return to Washington comes after a tumultuous four-year period in office marked by controversy and division. However, he expressed optimism about his second term, telling NBC News that his inauguration speech would focus on themes of unity, strength, and fairness.
