Donald Trump Jr. joked about receiving phone calls from President Donald Trump telling him to tone down social media posts while speaking at Charlie Kirk memorial service in Arizona before thousands of mourners

Donald Trump Jr. addressed the crowd gathered to honor Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA who was assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University.
During his speech, Donald Trump Jr. referenced receiving calls from his father, Trump, telling him to tone down his social media posts. "I've even gotten the call from that guy a couple of times," Trump Jr. said, apparently imitating or referencing conversations with the President about his online activity.

The remarks came as part of Trump Jr.'s broader comments at the memorial service, where he joined Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and other administration officials in honoring Kirk's legacy.
