Donald Trump is leading over Kamala Harris in Michigan, says poll

According to a recent poll, former president Donald Trump leads Vice President Kamala Harris in Michigan by a narrow margin.

According to a recent local poll, Vice President Harris is trailing former President Trump by a very narrow margin in Michigan. According to a Detroit News survey, Trump has 44.7 per cent of the vote to Harris's 43.5 per cent. It's a statistical toss-up in the crucial battleground state, according to the outlet.

Less than 5% of voters say they would support independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is trying to get his name removed from the ballot after supporting Donald Trump in swing states like Michigan. Kennedy’s request was turned down by Michigan’s secretary of state. In Michigan, 2.8 per cent of voters say they would select a different third-party candidate, and 4.8 per cent say they are still unsure about their vote. With 45.7 per cent of the vote, Harris narrowly leads among certain voters. Among certain voters, Trump has 44.1 per cent support, less than Harris.

More voters now say they have a favourable opinion of Harris following the start of her campaign, even though Trump's favorability rating hasn't changed much since July. Of Michigan voters, 42 per cent think well of Trump, while 51 per cent think poorly of him. Similar figures, 43 per cent favourable and 49.7 per cent unfavourable, are reported by Harris. In July, she was seen favourably by 37 per cent of voters and negatively by 47.8 per cent.

Voters in Michigan typically believe that Trump would manage the US economy, foreign policy, and southern border more skillfully. They assert that Harris is someone they can trust more and that he would strengthen American democracy more successfully. The Glengariff Group polled 600 likely voters in Michigan between August 26 and 29. Its error margin is four percentage points.
