Donald Trump, the 47th president of the United States, will take the oath of office on January 20. Among the artists scheduled to participate in President-elect Donald Trump's 2025 inauguration is country music icon Carrie Underwood.

It is confirmed that the Grammy winner will perform "America the Beautiful" on January 20 in Washington, D.C., when Trump takes the oath of office for a second term.

Trump officials confirmed Monday that the United States Naval Academy Glee Club and Armed Forces Choir will accompany the singer of "Before He Cheats."

Following her victory on "American Idol" in 2005, the Oklahoma native has gone on to win six platinum albums, eight Grammy Awards, and five CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Awards. Of all female artists, she has won the ACM Awards Entertainer of the Year award three times.

The Village People have also agreed to play at next week's Trump inauguration festivities. The late 1970s hit song "YMCA," which is commonly regarded as a gay anthem, was a major campaign theme for the 2024 presidential election. Additionally, the song inspired the president-elect's signature dance, as quoted in a report by the Daily News.

What Iconic Songs Are Planned for the Ceremony?

Despite their divergent political views, the band's longtime frontman, Victor Willis (who portrays the police officer), confirmed on social media Monday that they would attend a number of parties in Washington.

The 73-year-old crooner posted on Facebook, "Our song YMCA is a global anthem that hopefully helps bring the country together after a tumultuous and divided campaign where our preferred candidate lost. Therefore, we think it's time to use music to unite the nation."

Furthermore, confirmed to perform at the inauguration ceremony are opera singer Christopher Macchio and Grammy-winning country singer/songwriter Lee Greenwood. Greenwood's 1984 song "God Bless the U.S.A." has become a patriotic anthem and is often played at Trump rallies.
