Donald Trump is set to have a hectic Sunday as the 78-year-old US President-elect prepares for the oath-ceremony on Inauguration day on Monday, January 20. Trump is expected to lay a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery on Sunday before attending a rally of his supporters in Washington. He is also scheduled to address a dinner event on Sunday.

Donald Trump's MAGA Rally on Sunday


On Sunday evening, Trump is scheduled to hold a campaign-style "MAGA Victory" rally at Capital One Arena in downtown Washington, D.C.


The rally is set to include performances by Kid Rock, Billy Ray Cyrus, The Village People, Lee Greenwood and a Liberty University choir that will pay tribute to the attempted assassination of Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, where one rallygoer was killed and three people were injured, including Trump, whose ear was grazed by a bullet.

Rally speakers will include Trump, Vance, Elon Musk, former wrestling star Hulk Hogan, actor Jon Voight, UFC President Dana White, Puerto Rican reggaeton star Anuel AA, Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk and conservative podcaster Megyn Kelly.

Donald Trump landed in Washington on Saturday ahead of his inauguration, with the billionaire Republican set to attend a series of events and celebrations before reclaiming the presidency.


Trump, who arrived with his wife Melania and other family members at Dulles International Airport, headed to a private event, including a fireworks show, at his golf club in Virginia outside Washington.

With a blast of Arctic air expected to leave the nation's capital facing frigid temperatures on Inauguration Day, organizers are moving inside most of Monday's outdoor events, including the swearing-in ceremony.
