Dolly Parton, an American singer-songwriter known for her legendary country music, stated that 'Puppy Passion' was her very first song, and six decades later, her love for pets is stronger than ever. This gave her the idea to launch her line of Doggy Parton-themed clothing, accessories, toys, and more. A portion of the revenue will go to Willa B. Farms, a refuge where animals in need find eternal love.

The inspiration for Doggy Parton started with Parton's love of all animals and her wish to add a little additional shine to their everyday objects so that they would reflect her playful personality and flair.

A cowgirl-collared dress, printed denim, and gingham bandana, a microphone-shaped plush dog toy with a rope, a dazzling beaded butterfly necklace, and a pink winking butterfly plush crinkle dog toy are all currently part of the collection.

Parton's goddog, Billy the Kid, who her manager, Danny Nozell, owns, is the face of Doggy Parton since she currently doesn't have a pet of her own. Billy the Kid has been spotted with Parton on several occasions and is rumored to sit next to her during interviews and meetings, and he adores it when she dresses him up.

She established the Imagination Library in 1995, a program for sending children's books of the highest caliber from the time of their birth until the age of five.

Over 184 million books have been given to children all over the world by Parton since she began the initiative in 1995.
