Doja Cat arrived at Schiaparelli’s Paris Fashion Week Show covered in 30,000 crystals, red paint

Doja Cat left a lasting impression on the showgoers as she channelled her ‘Avatar’ and wore red body paint head-to-toe at Schiaparelli’s haute couture show in Paris. The singer arrived in a red gown with a beaded skirt from the fashion house. Writing about ‘Doja’s Inferno’ look, makeup artist Pat McGrath said on Instagram that the look was meant to help incite a feel of live sculpture sitting at the front row. Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner wore a fake severed lion head on her dress.

McGrath said that collaborating with Doja Cat and Daniel Roseberry was an “absolute pleasure”. The celebrity make-up artist also revealed that creation of ‘Doja’s Inferno’ look took four hours and 58 minutes and Doja Cat sat through “patience and dedication”. The 30,000 Swarovski crystals were applied by hand. McGrath said, “The final product was a magical, mesmerizing masterpiece and a tribute to Doja Cat’s hard work and dedication”.
