Does Kim Kardashian have risk of Alzheimer’s? New brain scan received during the episode of ‘The Kardashians’ leaves the TV star shocked as Dr Amen clears the air on her condition

A new scan revealed fresh and shocking details about Kim Kardashian’s brain. The popular TV star learned that she has "low brain activity" via a new scan she received during the latest episode of The Kardashians. The 45-year-old actress received the scan alongside Scott Disick during the Thursday, November 27, 2025, episode.

"Scott and I are both going to look at our brains today with Dr. Daniel Amen. He does these brain scans to see how your brain health is really looking," the reality star said in season 7, episode 6, as quoted by PEOPLE.

Dr. Amen was previously featured on The Kardashians when he scanned Khloé Kardashian's and Kendall Jenner's brains in 2022. "I have a beautiful brain," Kardashian said. "I've heard that before."

Dr. Amen asserted that Kim Kardashian does not have a high risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. Based on the imaging, the celebrity doctor said Kardashian is "not terribly stressed, not anxious, and not depressed," as quoted by PEOPLE. "You are extraordinary in being positive," the doctor further stated.

Dr. Amen, however, also noted that the "holes" in her brain scan indicated "low activity." "The front part of your brain is less active than it should be," the doctor explained. "With your frontal lobes as they work now, it would be harder to manage stress, and that's not good for you, especially as you're studying and you're getting ready to take the boards." "That just can't be," Kardashian replied. "It just can't—not accepting."

Dr. Amen went on to suggest that the "chronic stress" Kardashian experiences during her California bar exam study could be the cause of her results. He then offered steps toward managing her stress. "I got to get on a plan to really figure this out because I have some s--t to do this summer," she said.

This comes a week after the entrepreneur told her sister Kourtney Kardashian on the November 20 episode of The Kardashians that doctors had found an aneurysm in her brain.

“I did a Prenuvo scan, and they called me today, and they’re like, 'Everything looks great. But you have an aneurysm in your brain,'" she told Kourtney. "They’re like, 'It’s been there for years. It was here a few years ago.'" New episodes of The Kardashians premiere Thursdays at 12 a.m. ET on Hulu.
