The decision featured Indian batsman Rohit Sharma (R). Windies bowler Kemar Roach (L) seemed to have managed Sharma to give an inside-edge to the wicketkeeper. Umpire Richard Illingworth who was on field said not out but third umpire Michael Gough gave it out. Replays were inconclusive as was snicko that showed spikes but it was not clear if the ball touched the bat or pads.
