FBI Director Kash Patel said that investigators found Robinson's DNA on a towel that was used to hide the weapon and on a screwdriver that was found in a rooftop sniper's nest.
Kash Patel revealed in a Fox interview, “I can report today that the DNA hits from the towel that was wrapped around the firearm and the DNA from the screwdriver are positively processed for the suspect in custody."
More DNA from the bolt-action hunting rifle thought to be the murder weapon is still being looked at, as per a report by Fox & Friends.

The investigators were informed by Tyler Robinson's family collective, Patel confirmed, that Robinson was a supporter of left-wing ideologies, which had become increasingly apparent in recent years. Hatred for Charlie Kirk's values was the motivation, according to Patel.
During the interview, Patel also justified his decision to go to the field even though he was the director and not a field agent. He claimed that by following the suspect's instructions, he discovered important evidence like the towel and the screwdriver.
On Sunday, Utah Governor Spencer Cox stated that Robinson had recently expressed left-leaning views and been "radicalized" by online communities.
"There clearly was a leftist ideology." "Friends have confirmed that there was kind of that deep, dark internet, the Reddit culture, and these other dark places of the internet where this person was going deep," Cox said on NB News.
However, Tyler Robinson has refused to cooperate with investigators and has not admitted to killing Charlie Kirk. He even asserted that his doppelgänger was responsible.
