Disney's D23 Expo will be organized at the Anaheim Convention Center, California this week. The D23 Fan Club's head Michael Vargo said they couldn't be more thrilled. The entire company has worked very hard for this event and is looking forward to seeing the fans.

Coronavirus pandemic restrictions forced conference organizers to postpone last year's event to this year. Hence, the biennial event is returning to the Anaheim Convention Center on Friday. Although Disney does not release attendance numbers, Vargo believes the convention center will be flooded with visitors from around the world. It sits across the street from Disneyland Resort, Disney's flagship property.

During the D23 Expo, Disney's top studio executives, CEO Bob Chapek and Disney stars will gather with the company's latest slate of films, TV shows, and attractions, including Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, and Disney Animation. Several stars like Lilly Singh from the upcoming Disney movie "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" and "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" will make their way to Anaheim this weekend to participate in a unique musical extravaganza. It will be the first time a Disney studio animated series, Zootopia+, will be available on its streaming service Disney+, so some lucky attendees will be able to see it in preview this year. Chris Hemsworth won't be able to attend the screening of National Geographic's "Limitless with Chris".


Disney's Chairman of Parks, Experiences, and Products, Josh D'Amaro, will update guests in Hall D23 on what's happening at Disney's cruise lines, resorts, and theme parks worldwide, including Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney California Adventure. An event called Disney Legends kicks off the D23 Expo, honoring the contributions of individuals, who have contributed to Disney's legacy, like Chadwick Boseman, Anderson, Bell, and many more.
