For the very first time, the magic of Diwali resounded within the enchanting realm of Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The three-day celebration featured hundreds of dancers who artistically conveyed the rich cultural heritage of India to a global audience at the iconic American destination.

The inaugural Youth Celebration of Diwali was brought to life by Jashn Productions, featuring over 400 dancers hailing from various parts of the United States. These talented individuals illuminated the festival of lights through mesmerizing dance performances held at Disney Springs and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

This Dance Fest was orchestrated under the leadership of Jeanie Beri, the founder of Jashn Productions.

"Bringing Diwali to Walt Disney World Resort for the first time was so exhilarating," Beri expressed. "We created history by sharing the joy and excitement of this important festival with the South Asian dance community. Celebrating the magic of Diwali in 'The Most Magical Place on Earth' was truly a dream come true."

The festival, held from October 26 to 28, commenced with an official parade at Disney Springs, where the dancers delivered a 20-minute choreographed performance while parading through the enchanting streets of Disney Springs.

The Dance Fest featured 17 dance schools that showcased performances that intertwined elements of pop, hip-hop, and traditional dance styles from various regions of India, including Gujarat, Punjab, and Andhra Pradesh.
