Disney is working on "Frozen 4," Bob Iger reveals

"Frozen 4" has been in production by the company, according to Bob Iger, in addition to the previously announced but unreleased "Frozen 3."

Disney's CEO stated that both movies are currently under process. However, I don't currently have much to say about such movies. The director of the first two movies Jenn Lee, is working very dedicatedly on not one, but two stories with her Disney animation team.

Kristen Anderson-Lopez later confirmed on social media that she and Robert Lopez, the songwriters for the two sequel films, will be returning to write new songs for both new movies.


Iger made the statement from Hong Kong's Disney theme park, where he was present for the "World of Frozen" opening ceremony. In addition to meeting Olaf, Anna, and Elsa, the attraction allows visitors to eat at eateries and stroll through neighborhoods that harken back to the magical realm of Arendelle.

We have been building these expansive, immersive worlds at our Disney Parks for many years. Iger said these are some of the best stories we have ever made. Naturally, "Frozen" is our most important franchise.

Disney's 2019 sequel "Frozen II" and the film "Frozen" became very hit and audiences from all age groups loved both movies.
