How did the tattoo promise begin?
The idea started casually. In a TikTok posted earlier this month, Conner Leavitt filmed Whitney while she was doing dishes, asking if she would really get a tattoo if Chicago broke its all-time ticket sales record.
"I don't believe you. There's no way you'd do that," Conner said.
"Yes, I would," Whitney replied, before realizing she was on camera.
Conner doubled down: "You heard it here first, folks. Whitney's gonna get a tattoo if she breaks the record. And I get to pick it."
"No!" Whitney quickly shot back, as per a report by People.
The moment didn’t end there. In the comments, Conner jokingly shared a design reading "Roxie Fart," which Whitney immediately rejected, replying, "I swear to god hahahahaha NOOO."

What’s next for Whitney on Broadway?
Whitney Leavitt has been performing as Roxie Hart in Chicago, a role she said she wanted to remember in a lasting way.
Though her final performance had initially been set for March 15, demand for tickets changed those plans. She is now scheduled to return on March 23 and continue performing through May 3.
The buzz around her run has also drawn attention from familiar faces. Mikayla Matthews playfully asked if the tattoo featured her face, while Mark Ballas, her former Dancing with the Stars partner, pushed to see proof.
"Uuuhh I need a photo to know this is real. Text me one RIGHT NOW ," he wrote, as per a report by People.
Ballas is also set to join the show soon, stepping into the role of Billy Flynn for a limited engagement beginning April 6.
Meanwhile, Whitney kept one detail under wraps, she didn’t reveal the final tattoo in her video, leaving fans guessing.
Still, one thing is certain, what began as a viral moment has now become a permanent reminder of a record-breaking Broadway chapter.
