Survey findings:
The survey was conducted by Schoen Cooperman Research. There were 500 people who took the survey. 51% of the respondent believed that Trump won the debate whereas only 23% said that Biden managed to win. 14% of the respondents believed that it was a draw. There were 12% of the respondents who were unsure as to who had won the debate.More than half of the voters were disappointed with Biden’s performance while only 17% thought that Trump underperformed. Many thought that Trump appeared to be more presidential.
Who has the lead?
Over 75% of the respondents said that they were more concerned about Biden health and 39% of the voters felt that Trump was too chaotic, appearing to be out of control and not having the right character to become the US president.While Trump won easily in the debate, the respondents did not give him an overwhelming approval rating. Presently, only 47% of the voters trust him in comparison to Biden who has an approval rating of 43%. Many said they do not intend to cast their vote in November.
