Did someone really throw a bag out of White House window? Trump reacts on viral video; here’s what he said
President Trump dismissed a viral video showing a black bag being thrown from the White House as AI-generated, citing sealed, heavy windows. This claim contradicts his administration's spokesperson, who stated the video depicted routine maintenanc...

The video, which circulated across social media platforms, showed an open window on the second floor of the White House. In the clip, what appears to be a black plastic bag is tossed out of a window. Calling AI both “good and bad,” Trump said that he sees “so many phony things.” “If something happens, really bad, just blame AI,” he stated.
Trump said that First Lady Melania Trump has complained about the windows not opening: “She said, ‘Love to have a little fresh air come in.’ But you can’t. They’re bulletproof,” she said, as quoted by CNN.
The claims made by the US president about the viral video were in contradiction to the statement issued by a spokesperson from his administration. According to PEOPLE, the spokesperson said on Tuesday, September 2, that the clip was of a contractor doing routine maintenance on the White House while the president was away. Trump was not at the White House for some of the weekend. He was at his golf club in Virginia on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
