Kazuchika Okada has clarified his thoughts before their International Wrestling Grand Prix (IWGP) Championship match. The World Championship match was going to take place at Wrestle Kingdom 17.
Kazuchika Okada says he is embarrassed.
The match will happen on January 4 and will only be a one-time fight between Kazuchika Okada and Jay White. This will be the first match at Wrestle Kingdom since 2019.
Kazuchika Okada and Jay White will face off in a rematch of their Dominion 6.12 collision at Osaka-jo Hall.
At Dominion, Okada is looking forward to defeating Jay White at Wrestle Kingdom.
Speaking to the press, Kazuchika Okada talked about Jay White's attitude at the IWGP championship, saying he found White embarrassing. Kazuchika Okada said it was a disgrace that Jay White got to represent the Pro-Wrestling League of Japan as a top champion. Kazuchika Okada wished to end Jay White's era and how much better an Okada title match will look at the Dome of Tokyo.

Phogat's dream of a medal in her first Olympics was cruelly cut short in 2016 when she hurt her ankle during her quarter-final bout against a Chinese opponent and left the mat in tears.

As for motivation, Phogat said she never forgot her pain in Rio.
"...every time I go on the mat for a match, that injury motivates me," said the wrestler from Haryana.
"It was one of the lowest points of my career. There was a lot of negativity from within.
"But I was able to come out of it and in hindsight, it has helped me become mentally strong."

Kazuchika Okada has also expressed his hopes to have the next Forbidden Door event in Japan.
Okada's latest chance against Jay White was at the Forbidden Door event a few months ago, in June this year. The match also saw Adam Cole and Adam Page, but Jay White emerged as the winner of the fatal four-way.
